The Tracker has a vaguely ape-like appearance. It has long dexterous fingers capped by long nails. Its skin is a grayish-blue and it has thick white hair covering its head and spreading across its shoulders and down its back. He is holding a dark black falchion in his right hand and a battered steel shield in his left hand. He is wearing a crystal amulet, some studded black leather brigandine, a brass-studded leather tasse, a salt-stained leather cape, a brass-studded brown leather pouch, a weathered brown leather vest torn along the shoulder, some hammered steel arm greaves, some salt-stained brown leather boots, some hammered steel leg greaves, and a rusty iron-mesh sheath.

Trudok says, "It can be pried from his corpse."
Trudok says, "Well, my first task would be set to figuring out if it indeed permanent."
Trudok says, "Perhaps it pulls the life of those it claims into it...or the wielder."

Turinrond asks, "I see. Much like Arkdaln has self promoted his rank, aye?"

Trudok says, "I find myself being forced into more roles then I would choose in camp."
Trudok waves his hand in a dismissive gesture.
Trudok says, "He is insane."
Trudok asks, "He thinks to bring the fight back to the council?"

Turinrond gets a blank look on his face.
Turinrond says, "There's your answer, Tracker."

Trudok says, "He thinks he is more powerful then the council."
Trudok chuckles.

Turinrond leans forward.
Turinrond quietly says, "Listen carefully."
Turinrond nods to Trudok.

Trudok says, "I would not wish that axe on even him."

Turinrond quietly says, "You can goad Arkdaln into stepping forward to confront Eregrek.."
Turinrond quietly asks, "And whatever happens, happens, but Eregrek will be vulnerable as well, aye?"

Trudok asks, "So, you propose I have the prince off him, only to kill the prince in return?"

Turinrond shrugs.

Trudok says, "That sounds a bit harsh for being touched in the head."
Trudok says, "The insane can not be helped."

Turinrond quietly says, "You're right, though. Surely he'll succeed and confront the counsil on his own"

Trudok says, "He is a tamed ape in my eyes."

Turinrond quietly says, "And .. it will be ye .. that will be left in his camp."
Turinrond nods to Trudok.

Trudok says, "And him stepping before the Council and threatening them would be something I would enjoy watching."
Trudok says, "He would be seen as mad."
Trudok says, "And that would free me of the question."

Turinrond quietly says, "He's rather convincing. He has half the town convinced he is.. intelligent and honorable, or some such madness."

Trudok says, "Intelligent, I do not begrudge him."

Trudok nods.
Trudok holds up his hand and tilts it side to side in a so-so gesture.
Trudok says, "Honourable, is only viewed by those willing."
Trudok says, "It is amazing what one can learn when they stay to the shadows and do not speak."

Turinrond nods to Trudok.

You hear the voice of Trudok say, "And as we have seen, I know the shadows."

Trudok chuckles.

Trudok says, "But anyway."
Trudok says, "What our aims were on the island, I can not tell you."
Trudok says, "Since it was not reached, there may be a day when we return for the same purpose."

Regyy quickly says, "Trudock that is kinda an important peice of information there"

You say, "I thought you just wanted more land and plunder."

Trudok says, "And it would do us no good to have you prepared or guarding anything in particular."

You say, "And slaves."

Trudok nods to Regyy.
Trudok says, "Agreed it is."
Trudok says, "Important to both sides."
Trudok says, "If they understand that, then maybe, they the two lesser powers, us and them, can force this evil-possessed dwarf to relenquish the axe."

Regyy quickly asks, "YOu have proff Colgan is evil?"

Trudok says, "I think that cowled stranger will bring you more problems then occupying half of the town."

Turinrond wrings his hands.

Trudok says, "And with that, I have shared everything I wished to."

Turinrond asks, "What do ye think, of Sankir? Refresh my memory?"

(Trudok spits off into the woods.)

Trudok says, "I would love the chance to gut him."

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok exclaim, "Gather me Krol!"

Eregrek says, "It's over now.."
Eregrek raps his knuckles against the blade of his broad-bladed waraxe. The tiny sparks that fly off the edge of the blade look like fireflies.

Eregrek asks, "Any last words?"

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok say, "Go ahead, consume another soul for your evil purposes. Just remember it was I who told the elves to be wary."

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok say,
"And by killing me, you are doing exactly what Sankir wanted."

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok say,
"May you both never return from the Ebon Gate.

Eregrek says, "You fool."

Eregrek says, "He did choose death."

Eregrek says, "And death he'll get."

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok exclaim, "Run Krol! Flee!"

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok exclaim, "Warrior run, tell the others to flee!"

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok say, "One did manage to leave."

Eregrek says, "Ahh, they die so easily..."

Eregrek says, "Trudok....I have business to attend to with the elves..."

Eregrek says, "You delay it."

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok say, "Return to Glaeveln and report about the......."

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok ask, "Business with the elves?"

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok say, "They were warned."

Eregrek says, "Yes...None of your concern."

Eregrek says, "You were not a worthy opponent..."

You hear the ghostly voice of Trudok say, "You were a nice corpse."

Eregrek smirks at Trudok.

Eregrek says, "You'll stay dead..."

Eregrek points at Trudok, ruining his hiding place.

Tongues of flame ripple along the blade of Eregrek's waraxe!

Eregrek swings a broad-bladed waraxe at Trudok!

Torn muscle in Trudok's right leg!
Spirals of orange flame trail along Eregrek's waraxe! As he strikes,
incandescent tongues of flame snake out at his target!
The smell of Trudok's charred flesh fills your nostrils.
... 10 points of damage!
Burst of flames to left leg burns skin bright red.


Hawkster leaps from hiding to attack!

Hawkster swings a krodera hilted vultite falchion at Trudok!
AS: +450 vs DS: +295 with AvD: +32 + d100 roll: +98 = +285
... and hits for 79 points of damage!
Gruesome, slashing blow to the side of Trudok's head!
Skull split open! Brain (and life) vanishes in a fine mist.

* Trudok drops dead at your feet!

Eregrek smirks at Trudok.

Eregrek says, "You'll stay dead..."

Eregrek strikes the dead body of Trudok. Flames erupt along the blade of his waraxe! The flames engulf Trudok's body, turning it into a crackling, hissing pillar of fire!
Dark, greasy smoke stings your eyes.

When the smoke clears, the body of Trudok is gone!

Eregrek raises his broad-bladed waraxe skyward!

A bright flame runs along the edge of the waraxe!

Eregrek says, "Finish them."
