The Blue Rider Comet

NEWS FROM THE ELVEN NATIONS: THE BLUE RIDER RETURNS
Day 20 of Volnes, 5103

The Observatory in Ta'Illistim has noted the arrival of an interesting astronomical phenomenon -- the Blue Rider, a large blue comet which returns to the northern sky once every 1,047 years. Over the next three months, the Blue Rider will continue to brighten as it travels slowly from north to south across the heavens. Amateur astronomers are invited to visit the Observatory in order to inspect the comet more closely.

You gaze up into the sky and see a broad field of lights...

Faintly visible against the brilliant canvas of other bright celestial lights, the image of a crystal ball is formed by eight glimmering stars. The gentle sparkles of the pattern appear to be growing steadily stronger.

Also amid the twinkling lights is a comet, burning with a noticeable intensity as it travels the endless expanse. A wavering tail of cerulean blue trails behind it, resembling a massive serpent gliding through the black pool of night.

The Krolvin’s Power from the Comet

Krigh raises his face to the sky and lifts one hand high in the air.

A luminous blue haze the color of the comet's tail envelops his hand.

Power seems to suffuse his body!

The Krolvin Title of Comet-rider

You see Arkdaln the Krolvin Comet-rider.
The Comet-rider has a vaguely ape-like appearance. It has long dexterous fingers capped by long nails. Its skin is a grayish-blue and it has thick white hair covering its head and spreading across its shoulders and down its back.
He is holding a jagged steel short sword in his right hand and a battered steel shield in his left hand.
He is wearing some black salt-stained armor, a brass-studded brown leather pouch, a weathered brown leather vest torn along the shoulder, some cuffed black leather boots, a weathered black leather cape frayed and torn along the hem, and a rusty iron-mesh sheath.
